So!!! Are you like a rabbit? Jumping off to do a project quickly? Underestimate time, You are just ready to run as fast as you can to start and complete a project?
Just jumping into your project.
You’re ready, anxious, and excited and you think to yourself “this is going to be so easy!” You might think I’ll do this quickly and with great ease and it will be perfect, but you start to work on your project, and reality sets in that this may be taking more time than originally expected and that it may require more time than you calculated and planned for.
Supplies and time seem to be scarce, and this project is becoming larger than you had anticipated.
Yuck! You throw your hands up and instantly want to quit. I believe this is a common scenario we all experience at some point when we attempt a quickly accomplished that=project we really desire to complete.
What can we do not overestimate what we can do?
Do you want better results on your projects? So you “feel” good about the content you put out there for others.
We need to stop overestimating what we can get done even in 1 day. Take time to take a deep breath and…
We really need to embrace our inner turtle and resist retreating into our shells and take a deep breath.
Plan out the steps.
Do more research.
Take the time to get the project to a point where it’s “good”, not perfect but good enough.
don’t be as quick as a rabbit and just jump out there, but take your time like the turtle.
