Failing Forward…It’s Not Always FAILURE

When you learn from those mistakes. Most times failure is not failure, it’s a learning opportunity…

Have you ever found yourself in a state of making mistakes? How do you feel about it? What do you do about it?

If you are a follower of my blogs you know about my monthly show THE SH*!!!! I USE TO DO. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Ellieallaboutlive/ when prepping for the first show , I did everything to prep. We practiced, I promoted, made sure all the connections where good. Even found out I had to go LIVE from my phone… So then we went LIVE on Facebook.

My opener was GREAT, then I tried to bring in the guest, NO INVITE button showed up!!!!! My mind went into FREAK OUT mode !!! but I kept my cool! I asked viewers to hold tight and rejoin us. I shut down that LIVE and started a new one. This time SUCCESS,my guest button was visible and invited guest to join me on Facebook LIVE. She came on, and THENNNNNN I had echos on my side of the broadcast, she sounded great! Well, we moved forward with the show. It was still fun and we had great synergy for the interview.

So afterward of course I was disappointed in the moments of our broadcast going wrong. In my head, I am feeling somewhat embarrassed, I am suppose to be the expert in this arena for Pete’s sake!. I jump on the phone and call my guest and we compare notes.

Here is what we learned

When I couldn’t find the INVITE button, she had her phone turn horizontal instead of vertical. That mystery solved..I then reached out to a group on Facebook that I am a member of,they are follow LIVE streamers I learn from and bounce ideas with…Found out need earbuds or headphones on…

Watch the video to see how I handled a few other items…

So! Learn from my mistakes and keep moving forward in imperfection.
