I am going to start with 3 tips below

3 Ways to Grow More Confident in Video

Absolutely! Encouraging shy or slower-adapting business owners to record their own videos can be a great way to enhance their online presence and engage with their audience. Here are three tips to help them grow confident in recording their own videos:

  1. Start Small and Practice Regularly: I really want to encourage you to start small with short, simple videos. This could be as simple as recording a quick introduction or sharing a brief tip related to your business. The key is to get comfortable being in front of the camera. Practice regularly, even if it’s just for a few minutes each day. The more you practice, the more confident you will become.
  2. Focus on Authenticity: authenticity is key when recording videos. be yourself and speak from the heart. Authenticity helps to build trust with your audience and makes you more relatable. These videos don’t need to be perfect or polished – what matters most is that they are genuine and sincere.
  3. Embrace Imperfection: It’s okay to make mistakes. Do not expect your videos to be flawless, especially in the beginning. I highly encourage you to embrace imperfection. Do not be too hard on yourself. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and improve. Over time, you will become more comfortable in front of the camera and your confidence will grow.

By starting small, focusing on authenticity, and embracing imperfection. Overcome your shyness. You may think it’s too late to start using video for your business or service. No, it is never to late, no matter what age you are. In adding video to your business plan, grow your business

With practice and persistence, you will soon be able to effectively communicate your message and connect with your audience through video content.

You are not doing this alone

Did I fail to tell you, I am going live every day for the month of April 2024?

Check out my video above. I totally just turned on the camera, no makeup, just in my t-shirt, using an app on my smartphone to go live. So imperfect, but, I didn’t want it perfect.

Why? To show you that even imperfect, the message is good. (I hope) LOL

It’s called the LEDA challenge. Live Every Day for April or August. Just a catch way to encourage you guys to start making videos.

You can also do 30 reels or other short-form videos for your platform of choice. Just post a new reel every day for 30 days

So, I am doing this, and I am going to do mine on my Facebook page. Click here to connect.

I am also doing reels on Instagram for 30 days.

You can join me, sign up and watch, as I give tips and encouragement on using videos. Perhaps share some stories.

If you choose to join you will also get a list of ideas of what you can talk about. I highly encourage you to start with subjects you know like the back of your hand to start off well.
